Happy Planner

My choice of planners for 2017 is this classic Happy Planner! I was lucky enough to receive it as a gift from my lovely daughters, making me the third Happy Planner in the family. To say I’m excited is an understatement. I’ve decided that since this edition started with September, there’s no reason to wait for January to use it!

Last year, I used the Bloom Vision Planner. I loved it, but there were a few things that just didn’t work as well as I’d hoped:

  • I am left-handed, making it nearly impossible to write in a spiral-bound planner (or anything spiral-bound, really).
  • The planner was not large enough.
  • No options for expansion/accessories

That being said, I REALLY love Bloom. If you’re interested please check out what they have to offer!

Because I’ve hoarded crafting supplies since I was a teenager, I have an ample supply of scrapbook paper, stickers, washi, gel pens, etc. Naturally, I picked up a few thingsĀ at Pat Catan’s today. I bought a value pack of stickers, planner bands and a 4-pack of black pens.

I am not sure if I will decorate my monthly pages, other than a few seasonal stickers. I wrote in family and friends’ birthdays, important school dates and a few other details. Once my little one is in bed, I look forward to working on a Thanksgiving week layout.
